Accounts Payable Clerk

Certikin International is looking for an excellent Accounts Payable Clerk to join their Finance. Certikin International is a brand leader that delivers everything that is required to build, refurbish & maintain residential and commercial swimming pools and spa/wellness centres.

In this role your key responsibilities will be:

• Processing invoices and credit notes from domestic and overseas suppliers
• Matching goods received notes and purchase orders, checking prices and entering onto computer system.
• Resolve internal and external queries,
• Creation of automated pay runs and ad hoc payments
• Reconcile supplier accounts on a monthly basis.
• Calculating additional costs of goods received (freight & duty) and apportioning to the value of stock checking and maintaining outstanding goods received notes on a monthly basis
• Bank postings work

We are looking for a proactive individual with demonstrable experience in an accounts payable role, preferably within a business that imports goods. You also need to have:

• The ability to work to deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills, ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and work with colleagues at all levels across the business
• An enquiring mind with the ability to analyse and question data
• Proactive attitude to identify issues and present solutions
• Demonstrable organizational and administrative skills
• Experience and understanding of the Microsoft Office suite especially Excel.
• The ability to implement process improvements collaboratively with the rest of the AP team and the overall finance department.

Your role will be office based working 37 hours a week.  We are offering an annual salary of between £28,000-£29,000 depending on experience plus a performance related bonus.
