The people I work with and the customers. The opportunities that arise and the encouragement to progress. Working in a friendly open-plan office, which creates a pleasant working environment. Plus, when a customer gives good feedback on the service we, as a company, have provided, it makes you feel proud of the whole Certikin team.
The team is great. We’re all invested in what we need to achieve and that’s to be recognised as the best liner installers around. This is also reflected in our Technical Sales Team and Service Team. Without them we wouldn’t have the jobs to go to! My direct line manager has encouraged my progression and I do see them as a mentor.
No day is the same for me. I could be on-site visits around the country meeting with existing or new clients. I can be onsite trouble shooting with clients or members of our site lining teams. I can be in the office writing reports or meeting with other departments. Also working alongside our Technical Sales Team, we will try and spot and minimise potential problems before they arise at the time of liner installation. I do still like to get on the tools every now and then, just to keep the guys on their toes!
So far, I personally find the learning and progression opportunities to be the greatest motivating factor in working for Certikin. Also, the friendly and supportive atmosphere help a lot on a daily basis.
